The "Bodak Yellow" rapper stars alongside Zendaya, who was photographed by Mario Sorrenti.
In light of the past six months of scandal surrounding powerful men in industries spanning from film to fashion, any news of strong women working with strong women is heartening. Case in point: CR Fashion Book's latest cover, which features Cardi B as seen through the lens of 25-year-old photographer-of-the-moment Petra Collins. As the first solo female rapper to top Billboard's Hot 100 chart since 1998 and one of the most-imitated young photographers in fashion, respectively, these two make quite a powerhouse duo.
In the images, Cardi wears Saint Laurent, Alexandre Vauthier and Gianvito Rossi, with all her looks styled by Ron Hartleben. Inside, the cover story includes an interview conducted by Zendaya, who serves as CR Fashion Book's second cover star of the month (and who was herself interviewed by Cardi for the magazine, as well).
Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, Zendaya's covers feature the "The Greatest Showman" actress wearing Prada and Azzedine Alaïa. Both her covers were creative directed by Riccardo Tisci and styled by Carine Roitfeld.
