Is your change jar at home filled with pennies, quarters, and euros?

After an international vacation, it’s inevitable that you’ll have some foreign currency laying around in your wallet. Sure, you can exchange it at currency exchange, but now there’s a new service making it even easier.

Leftovercash is a kiosk in Southern California that will take your foreign money and covert it for you — it even calculates the exchange rate! The first machine is located at the South Bay Galleria in Redondo Beach, and will take euros, British pounds, Swiss francs, Japanese yen and Canadian dollars.

Once your money is converted, you have three options. First, you can choose to simply cash out. Next, you can receive your money in the form of a gift card to Lowe’s, Staples, Shutterfly, Overstock.com, and many more. And finally, you can choose to donate the money to pre-selected charities including Make-a-Wish of Greater L.A., among others.

For their service, Leftovercash charges $3.99 per transaction.

The company currently has just the one location in SoCal, but with convenience like this, we’re hoping they expand soon!
