It's no secret that The Crown is one of the biggest Netflix shows of all time. The show has gotten praise since it debuted in 2016, has earned some of its actors — like Claire Foy and Olivia Colman — Emmy Awards, and so much more.

The series depicting Queen Elizabeth II's reign started with her ascending to the throne in 1952, and now we're approaching the late 1990s and 2000s with the sixth and final season.

While the countless moments in history The Crown has shown have been amazing, nothing quite tops seeing who they'll cast to depict the royal family. From Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Imelda Staunton's casting as Queen Elizabeth II...

...to Matt Smith, Tobias Menzies, and Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip...

...to Emma Corrin and Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, the casting department of The Crown deserves all the praise for not only finding people who look similar to the real-life counterparts, but also actors who perfectly embody them through their performances.

Now, as we approach the sixth season of The Crown, we've also reached some of our final casting. While some of the actors from Season 5 will carry over to the final season, the series did have to cast older versions of some people, like Prince William, Prince Harry, and Kate Middleton.

And we finally have our first look at Prince William and Kate Middleton in Season 6, and it's pretty perfect once again.

Netflix also shared this adorable behind-the-scenes photo of Ed and Meg filming in Scotland — notably, at the spot where William and Kate met for the first time while attending the University of St. Andrews.

As mentioned above, The Crown Season 6 will mark the final season of the Netflix series and will take us through the late '90s and early '00s.

During this time, we'll notably get to Princess Diana's death in 1997, William's first years at St. Andrews, the Golden Jubilee of Elizabeth II, Princess Margaret's death in 2002, and much more.

As someone who has been watching The Crown since day one, I'm excited (and curious) to see this final season, and TBH, I'm going to miss this show a ton.
