It’s been four months since Joe Goldberg graced our TV screens in You season three. And while Netflix hasn’t released very many details about the next installment, the streaming service recently added a new cast member: Lukas Gage (The White Lotus, Euphoria).

1. When does 'You' season 4 premiere on Netflix?

Netflix hasn’t announced an official premiere date for You season 4, even though the streaming service renewed the popular series back in October 2021.

According to showrunner Sera Gamble, the decision to renew You was a no-brainer. “Reading Caroline’s novel, Greg [Berlanti] and I were instantly obsessed with Joe Goldberg and his twisted world view. And it’s been thrilling to watch Penn bring Joe to creepy yet compelling life. We’re deeply grateful that Netflix has shown You such monumental support, and that people around the world have enjoyed watching Joe really get it all very wrong over the past 3 seasons,” she said, according to Deadline. “The whole You team is excited to explore new, dark facets of love in season four.”

2. Who stars in 'You'?

Netflix hasn’t confirmed which cast members will return for You season 4. However, it’s safe to say that Penn Badgley will reprise his role as Joe Goldberg. The same can’t be said for Victoria Pedretti—unless her character, Love, returns from the dead to taunt Joe.

Deadline also announced that Gage will join the cast as a series regular. The actor will play an ex-pat named Adam, who has failed to live up to his wealthy family’s standards.

3. What is 'You' about?

The story follows a man named Joe Goldberg, who often becomes obsessed with different women. When things go south, he finds a way to get rid of them before moving onto his next target.
