Netflix Has Officially Renewed ‘Ginny & Georgia’ for Season 2

Last week, Netflix broke the big news that it had officially renewed Bridgerton for a 3rd and 4th season. And this week, the streaming platform continued its good news streak by announcing that another popular show, Ginny & Georgia, is getting a second season.

Netflix announced the exciting renewal on Monday, revealing that the new installment will consist of 10 episodes. "We are so appreciative of the incredible response and love you all have shown Ginny & Georgia. We're especially grateful to Brianne and Toni, who set the highest bar every step of the way. We can’t wait to return to Wellsbury for season two," showrunner Debra J. Fisher and creator Sarah Lampert, said in a joint statement.

The news comes just two months after the series debuted on the platform and quickly made its way into the top ten shows.

Netflix’s official synopsis reads, “Angsty and awkward fifteen-year-old Ginny Miller often feels more mature than her thirty-year-old mother, the irresistible and dynamic Georgia Miller. After years on the run, Georgia desperately wants to put down roots in picturesque New England and give her family something they've never had... a normal life. But it's not all carpool and Kombucha as Georgia's past threatens her and her family's new way of life... and Georgia will do anything to protect her family.”

No word on when we'll get to see this mother-daughter duo on the small screen again. But since news of the renewal came quickly, we’re hoping the same happens for the actual production of the show.
