Likely sensing a withdrawal, Netflix has shared a touching — but also heartbreaking — deleted scene from Season 4 of The Crown.

Featuring Emma Corrin as Princess Diana, the scene portrays a lonely Di hitting "play" on the anniversary gift she gave husband Prince Charles (Josh O'Connor).

That gift, of course, was a recording of her performing "All I Ask of You" from Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera.

Not that Charles can appreciate it — he memorably scoffs at the gift on the show.

Earlier in August, Emma got candid about their journey after coming out as queer.

They continued, "I think we are so used to defining ourselves. That's the way society works is within these binaries and it's taken me a long time to [realize] that I exist somewhere in between and I'm still not sure where that is yet."

Moving forward, The Crown Season 5 will feature Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki taking over from Emma (who won a Golden Globe for her portrayal) as Diana, while Dominic West will play Charles.

Till then, we'll have to make do with rewatches and — hopefully — more deleted scenes!
