Netflix’s You: Every season 4 filming location

You season four part two has finally landed on Netflix, and this time, it's a bit closer to home. The second half of the Netflix smash psychological thriller returned yesterday [the 9th March], and while past series have taken place across the pond in the US - New York and California respectively - the newest episodes have seen the murderous Joe Goldberg starting a new life in London.

Which means all you diehard fans - visiting the filming sites is much more likely this time around. So, if you're looking to really immerse yourself in the show as the latest eps drop, here're some of the locations you can visit in real life. You're welcome...

London in general

Season four will show off some familiar London areas, including Braithwaite Street, 1 Old Billingsgate Walk, and Brushfield Street. Joe is also seen sitting in front of Tower Bridge, below. Whether you live in the capital or you're heading there for a day trip, if you're a You fan, be sure to hit up these haunts.

Knebworth House, Hertfordshire

Knebworth House is featured in episodes four and five of You season four as Hampsie House aka Lady Phoebe's country getaway.

The interior and exterior of the house were used for many of the scenes, with extra set designs added to create certain scenes, in particular the bedroom scene with Phoebe and Joe.

You'll probably recognise the Tudor mansion outside of You too, as it's also been used in other projects, including The Crown.

Black Park Country Park

Whilst most of the scenes at Hampsie House were shot at Knebworth House, the scenes that took place in the woods outside the house, where the gang go shooting, were actually filmed in Slough.

They took place in Black Park, which covers over 500 acres of natural woodland.

A number of Harry Potter movies, X-Men: First Class and Killing Eve scenes have also been shot in the woods.

Royal Holloway University

In You season four, Royal Holloway is used as the university Joe, or should I say Jonathan Moore, teaches at.

Penn Badgley, who plays Joe, was spotted by numerous students last year at Royal Holloway the new series was being filmed. "POV: YOU season four is being filmed at your uni," someone captioned a TikTok video, as Badgley walked through the campus holding a coffee.

The Royal Holloway University is situated in Egham, Surrey, and like Knebworth House, has also been featured in plenty of other media projects. From Downton Abbey to Antiques Roadshow to Midsomer Murders and even Celebrity Masterchef, it seems the uni is no stranger to the limelight.

Gaddesden Estate, Gaddesden Home Farm

The farming and forestry estate at Gaddesden Home Farm has been in the Halsey family for 500 years and is located in Hemel Hempstead, in the Chilterns' Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

In terms of its usage in You, it's been reported that it will feature as a lumberyard for the newest series.

Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square

The Four Seasons is used to portray the luxury flat of Lady Phoebe (former EastEnders star Tilly Keeper), a young socialite who Joe meets after integrating himself into her London friendship group.

Lincoln's Inn, 11 New Square

Lincoln's Inn - one of the four Inns of Court in London - is used as Darcy College, the fictional university where Joe Goldberg (Professor Jonathan Moore) is now teaching. All of the library shots (some of which have been used as promo for the new series) were filmed here, with the Holborn haunt being one of the world's most prestigious locations where barristers of England and Wales are called to the Bar.

Gloucester Road

Gloucester Road station in Kensington, West London will feature in the new episodes of You. The stop drops people off in the centre of the capital and is pretty close to two London (and Royal) landmarks - Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palace.

St. Pancras International

There's no denying St. Pancras station is quintessentially British and exceptionally grand. So it's not surprising that the Netflix smash chose to do some filming here.

In the series Joe follows Marienne to the station, as she attempts to get on a train to Paris.

Fabric

Fabric is one of the capital's most legendary clubs, and it's London's home for electronic music. The nightclub will be the setting for some of the party scenes in the latest episodes.

The Bargehouse

Situated in the South Bank (and in the Oxo Tower), this avant-garde gallery space offers immersive experiences, exhibits, and supports a number of arts colleges and universities in the city. In terms of You, it's where art gallery director Kate (Charlotte Richie) spends a lot of her time.

St. Bartholomew the Great

While some locals might call it Great St Bart's, this medieval church is another location that's been included in season four of You. It was founded as an Augustinian priory in 1123 and is situated relatively near Farringdon and Barbican stations.

Seething Lane Garden

A calm, enclosed, peaceful space amongst the chaos of central London, Seething Lane Garden will make an appearance in the new episodes.

Cornwall Gardens, Kensington

The exterior shots of Kate's boujie London flat were all filmed on location at Cornwall Gardens in Kensington.

However, the interior of her flat was created on a sound stage.

The Promenade, Chiswick and Chiswick Gardens

Chiswick is an affluent district in the London Borough of Hounslow. Known for its village feel and quaint charm, the area will provide some picturesque backdrops throughout the season.
