Netflix is releasing another installment of The Princess Switch franchise, whether we like it or not.

The streaming service just dropped the first official trailer for The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star, which picks up right where we left off.

The trailer re-introduces viewers to the story line, which follows a trio of doppelgängers (all played by Vanessa Hudgens): Queen Margaret of Montenaro, Princess Stacy of Belgravia and Lady Fiona Pembroke.

“This year, we’re hosting an international Christmas festival featuring a special visitor all the way from the Vatican,” Stacy says in the clip.

When a family relic called The Star of Peace is stolen from the palace, Margaret and Stacy are forced to enlist Fiona to help track it down. “If anyone knows the unseemly side of things, it’s my cousin,” Margaret says.

Romancing the Star is the third installment in the popular holiday franchise. The first movie, titled The Princess Switch, debuted in 2018 and followed Stacy De Novo, a baker from Chicago, as she switched places with Lady Margaret Delacourt. Similar to The Parent Trap, the duo altered their appearances and mannerisms to resemble each other. The second film, The Princess Switch: Switched Again, introduced the royal’s cousin Lady Fiona Pembroke, who tried to steal the crown.

The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star will hit Netflix on Thursday, November 18. Perhaps the third time’s a charm?
