Netflix Drops First Official Trailer for Will Arnett's New Crime Comedy Series 'Murderville'

Netflix has officially released its first official trailer of the Will Arnett-led crime comedy series, Murderville.

The show is adapted from the original BAFTA award-winning BBC3 series titled Murder in Successville. Arnett stars as the titular senior homicide detective, Terry Seattle. Throughout the series audiences see Terry paired with a different celebrity guest star to solve a differenty murder mystery each episode. None of the guest stars are given a script and are forced to improvise the storyline to ultimately determine who the killer is byt the end of the episode.

The trailer sees Arnett's Seattle character interacting with his guest stars, guiding them to find the answers. Audiences catch a glimpse of the humor to be expected throughout the series when Seattle deadpans to guest star Kumail Nanjiani after an officer declares that there has been a murder, "You're supposed to gasp." When Nanjiani follows his instructions, he responds with "Weird gasp."

There will be six episodes in the first season of Murderville. Main cast includes Haneefah Wood, Lilan Bowden and Phillip Smithey alongside Arnett. Guest stars for season one feature, Najjiani, Annie Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Marshawn Lynch and Sharon Stone. Murderville hits Netflix on February 3.
