Netflix Is Adding So Many Classics in August 2022

There's never been a better time to stay in and beat the heat. Thankfully, Netflix has us covered for entertainment in the shade. For the final leg of summer, the streaming giant is dropping new seasons of favorites like Never Have I Ever, and launching new series like The Sandman.

And there are so many classic movies coming too! No, we don't mean black-and-white classic-classics, we mean modern entries in the pantheon, like 8 Mile, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Eyes Wide Shut, and Love & Basketball. And don't sleep on The Age of Adaline; it's a weird movie but pretty fun!

Perhaps most important, the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy will be available starting on the first of the month. If you've been jonesing for a rewatch since Tobey Maguire popped up in No Way Home, there's never been a better time. The first two movies are great, and even the third one has some memorable scenes and performances. Kirsten Dunst supremacy!
