Neon Shares Trailer for New Wim Wenders Film

Neon has shared the official trailer for Wim Wenders' new film, Perfect Days.

Nominated for the Palme d'Or at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Perfect Days stars Kôji Yakusho as Hirayama, who is content with his simple life cleaning toilets in Tokyo. Outside of his structured routine he cherishes music on cassette tapes, books, and taking photos of trees. Unexpected encounters reveal more of his story in a deeply moving and poetic reflection on finding beauty in the world around us.

Yakusho secured the Best Actor award at Cannes with a performance critics are calling "heartfelt" and "contemplative".

Perfect Days is Japan's official entry in the Best International Feature Film category at the 96th Academy Awards. It is currently screening on a one-week run at The Angelika Film Center in New York City ahead of its US release in 2024.
