One game away from the Final Four

San Diego State is in the Elite Eight for the first time in school history after they defeated the No. 1 overall-seeded Alabama Crimson Tide. The Aztecs next fame is against No. 6 seeded Creighton on Sunday with a tip time at 12:20 PT on CBS.

San Diego State is once again the higher seed, but the oddsmakers are giving the Bluejays a two-point edge on the line. It originally opened up as a 1.5- point favorite for Creighton.

Those are interesting odds since the Aztecs just dispatched the No. 1 overall seed. The Vegas oddsmakers have updated their overall odds and San Diego State is tied for fifth with Kansas State at +800.

Creighton is +550 and given the fourth-shortest odds.

UConn +300
Texas +400
Gonzaga +500
Creighton +550
Kansas State +800
San Diego State +800
Miami +1000
Florida Atlantic +1300

Over at 538, San Diego State is given a 12% chance to win the national title which is fourth among teams remaining. Just to make the title game they are at 29% overall.

Creighton is one spot ahead in both percentages. To make the Final Four, the Aztecs are a slight underdog at 46%.

Making it this far in the tournament means anything can happen, and the Aztecs are doing an amazing job in their run.

With no more No. 1 seeds around, it is anyone’s tournament to win it all. So, why not San Diego State?
