It’s easy to forget how natural glam makeup can transform your entire look, especially if a smokey eye and red lipstick is your go-to. But the no-makeup makeup trend is super affordable and quite effortless to achieve.
Nixing the foundation, contour and highlight, we found four inexpensive products made with quality ingredients to enhance your natural beauty for under $30. Watch the video above as our Accidental Beauty Blogger host Nurys Castillo demos these items, then read below for more details on why you’ll want to add these makeup products to your beauty bag.
This was my first time ever trying a scrub made especially for lips, and I can say that I will be using this more frequently. It's amazing! I apply it all over my lips and removed the small sugar particles with a wipe. This seriously exfoliates, as well as moisturizes my lips.
I was pretty impressed by this lip gloss. It hydrates my lips, the color was vivid yet not overwhelmingly bright and I love the glossy finish, which I usually don’t go for. I am a matte lipstick gal myself, but this product boasts a beautiful high shine and was incredibly moisturizing.
I was so excited to try this CoverGirl mascara after reading the ingredients label. My lashes tend to break easily, so I can use all of the nourishing oils. It defines my lashes so well and evenly coats them with zero clumping! I think the awesome formula with coconut, avocado and papaya oils really helps. This mascara gave my lashes a more natural look instead of that big, glamorous flutter.
Anything with any type of butter in it, I want to try. This blush wears very natural on the face, and it gives me a soft hint of color too. It applies as buttery as it feels, thanks to the creamy texture. It also smells good! But my favorite part about this product is that its really buildable. I sometimes feel blushes go on harsh and you end up going overboard. Not at all with this, as I was able to get that rosy-pink cheeks look.
The Ultimate Must-Have
While I usually pick one product from my video, but I am obsessed with both the Sephora Collection Lip Balm & Scrub and Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating Lip Shine. I really love how these two work together, and it was perfect to create that natural makeup look. I think any lip gloss that you apply with exfoliated lips will feel and make you look fabulous.
