National Pasta Day Is Here And So Are The Deals To Help You Carb Load
If you have a love affair with all things pasta, you're not alone. Reports have shown that more than half of American adults enjoy at least one pasta dish per week, which is no surprise considering the versatility of the food. In fact, pasta is so popular, there's an entire day dedicated to the food: National Pasta Day, falling on October 17 this year.
Restaurants like to get in on the action by offering deals on super cheap noods—and we like to get in on the action by telling you about those deals (below).

Carrabba's Italian Grill
All month long Carrabba's is offering a number of different family bundle meals that come with salad and bread and can feed up to five people. Prices start at $34.99 and options include (but are not limited to) lasagne, spaghetti, penne alfredo, penne carrabba, and rigatoni campagnolo. For bigger groups, Carrabba's catering can serve up to 12 people.
Carmine's
For one week only starting on National Pasta Day, Carmine's is bringing back a fan favorite to the menu. Carmine's Capellini Marechiara Pasta Special will be available for takeout and delivery at Carmine's Upper West Side, Atlantic City, and Las Vegas. The dish features green lip mussels, littleneck clams, shrimp, scallops, Italian hot peppers, pomodoro tomatoes, roasted garlic, basil, parsley, and Carmine’s white wine, finished with baby arugula for $54, the portion feeds four to six guests. This year, Carmine's is also selling their famous sauces online.
Olive Garden
From 10a.m. to 10p.m. EST on October 17, Olive Garden is launching a "pasta-tivity" text line to promote positivity during this crazy year to customers. To use the service, all you have to do is pick up your favorite pastas using Curbside ToGo, text the Pasta-tivity line at 407-986-0273, and you'll receive a personalized message of positivity that can start a conversation for as long as you want.
Hard Rock Cafe
Through November 22, Hard Rock will donate $1 from each Family Bundle to No Kid Hungry, with one option being the Parmigiana-Style Chicken & Pasta. This dish includes Parmigiana-Style Chicken, crafted with Tupelo Chicken Tenders smothered in classic marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, as well as a bowl of Cavatappi Pasta, a Family-Style Caesar Salad, and Garlic Toast flavored with butter, garlic, and fresh parsley.
