The rapper announced on May 3 that he's launching a line of nail-polish colors called Crete, and the first collection will be released on May 21.
The fountain of youth in powder form, if you will.
You might be surprised.
These look so fresh.
There are two kinds of people in the world right now: those who have eagerly reverted to wearing "real shoes" post-lockdown, and those still shamelessly living in house slippers. Fortunately for both camps, designers have latched onto a happy medium. Enter the slandal: chic, comfortable, transitional .
Kitten heels are the perfect transitional shoe for spring.
There’s been no shortage of celebrity beauty lines lately. Pharrell, Jennifer Lopez, and Priyanka Chopra (to name a few) have all tapped the skin and haircare categories for their significant forays into the beauty space. Rihanna and Selena Gomez have created their lanes in the makeup aisle as well. Like it or not — Hollywood’s elite are fulfilling their dreams as beauty entrepreneurs, and a popular rapper is the latest to join the beauty founder club. Lil Yachty, née Miles Parks McCollum, took to the ‘gram to show off his latest venture: Crete, a gender-neutral line of “nail paints.” In the announcement, Yatchy showed off his new collection, outfitted in sleek matte black bottles. “I’d like to introduce my new nail paint line @crete__co …. FIRST COLOR DROP MAY 21,” he wrote in the caption. “ALL GENDERS. FOR YOU, NOT THEM.” A few slides over, Yatchy showed off a gray and black tonal manicure with a spade design, hinting at the colors in his first drop. Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, Jaden Smith, Harry Styles have all openly embraced nail art, proving that painted tips — whether clear or decked out in smiley faces — are for anyone. View this post on Instagram A post shared by ^CONCRETE BOY BOAT^ 👷🏾 (@lilyachty) Yachty’s Crete line got a ton of support from eager fans and celebrities alike. “Packaging is mean,” rapper A$AP Ferg commented (and we concur.) “GO OFF,” Justine Skye wrote. Comedian Zoie Fenty also commended Yachty for staying true to himself. “NAIL POLISH IS FOR ANYBODY WITH NAILS. (Congrats Yachty) keep being you,” Fenty wrote. We couldn’t agree more. So now that we’ve got that out of the way, the only questions that remain are: What colors will he launch? And will it chip? Our tips will be ready when Crete drops. Like what you see? From wood paneling to tile countertops and floral couches draped in lace, we've looked through some of the biggest home trends of decades past that might just make you cringe now (including a few that aren't so obvious). Tile countertops were all the rage in the 1970s, but if you'd like to keep your space current, it's best to leave this trend behind. It might have been fabulous in the 70s, but in 2019, avoid wood paneling at all costs.
Whether you go all out or keep it low key on the weekends, here's the style inspiration you need to nail your off-duty looks
Celebrities can't get enough of Cult Gaia's twisted design.
This obsession with recreating that post-vacation glow also leads me to discover a lot of exciting new products, like the Pai The Impossible Glow Hyaluronic Acid & Sea Kelp Bronzing Drops . As a skin-care brand, these tinted drops are Pai's first foray into anything makeup-adjacent. Not only does it help instantly bronze your skin, but it's formulated with skin-loving ingredients like hyaluronic acid and sea kelp for hydration, and vitamin C for an added boost of radiance that sticks with you. The instructions of the Pai The Impossible Glow Hyaluronic Acid & Sea Kelp Bronzing Drops say to shake it well, then mix with your moisturizer for an all-over glow.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – MAY 03: Katie Holmes is seen in SoHo on May 03, 2021 in New York City. (Photo by Gotham/GC Images) On Monday, Katie Holmes was spotted running (literally) through New York City while filming a scene for her upcoming movie, The Watergate Girl. While the outfit — an orange-and-black knit dress from Chloé — was likely selected by the film’s costume designer, it looked pulled from the actress’ closet, especially when it came to her footwear: a pair of Gucci loafers. Adding a trend-forward spin on the look, Holmes wore the shoes with a pair of crew socks, a popular style hack among the fashion crowd. The socks-with-loafers trend became popular (again) in fall of 2019, when Fashion Month’s street style stars began adorning their platform and lug-soled loafers with sporty and patterned socks, alike. Since, the look has become a fashion staple, popping up regularly on Instagram and TikTok. In fact, Holmes isn’t even the only celebrity to wear the socks-with-loafers duo this week: A day earlier, fellow actress and street style star Chloë Sevigny was also spotted wearing socks with loafers, styling hers with a royal blue sweat short set and a navy blue blazer. (Photo by Gotham/GC Images) Further solidifying her role on our spring style mood board, Holmes was seen wearing another favorite shoe style on Monday: UGG boots. Off-set, the actress appeared in a pair of the SoCal brand’s Mini Bailey Button II boots in chestnut, which she paired with a black, midi-length skirt and a flowy, floral blouse. Suffice to say, after running on set in Gucci loafers all day — no matter how comfy the accompanying socks are — the only remedy is a pair of UGGs. Good thing they’re in style again.
