These are the stories making headlines in fashion on Wednesday.

Eva Longoria covers Town & Country
Eva Longoria covers the April issue of Town & Country, styled by Bernat Muscato and photographed by Ruven Afanador. In the cover story by Erik Maza, the actor, philanthropist and political influencer spoke about the feeling of never letting her foot off the gas and why she took to directing. "As an actor, you really don't have any power over anything. You stand on a mark. You say your line. You go home. You don't cast who's opposite you. You don't get to pick the take you liked best or the poster," she said. "I want to control the final product of anything I do." {Town & Country}

Elle reveals 2023 "Women of Impact"
For March, Elle debuted its first-ever Impact Issue, which celebrates and centers the stories of women making a mark right now. Among its 2023 "Women of Impact," each of whom received a dedicated feature in the issue, are Ashley Biden, Keke Palmer, Emily Ratajkowski and designer Elena Velez, as well as a group of women determined to change the fashion industry for the better. Velez discussed her unique design perspective, being from Milwaukee, Wis.: "I think my success comes from the fact that I am intersecting with an interesting zeitgeist. There is a lot of meta-commentary right now about what the future of American manufacturing looks like," she said. "Politically, socially, it's a good time to consider life outside of the coasts. After the last election cycle, you’re seeing how little conversation is happening between New York and Wisconsin. How is that manifesting? How can we create a fashion brand that speaks to those universalities of the human experience without falling under the New York/L.A. umbrella?" {Elle}
