Last month, some viewers began to notice a change in Chris's appearance, prompting them to ask what was going on.

At the time, Chris revealed that they were gender non-conforming and shared that they had started hormone replacement therapy in February.

HRT, and it’s only been 2 months 😱 https://t.co/uAWOw59eMm

Chris, who uses any pronouns, is now sharing a three-month update, showing off how much they've changed since beginning HRT.

"Me when Breath of the Wild came out VS. me when Tears of the Kingdom came out," Chris captioned two images, sharing a photo from 2017 and one from last week.

While Chris has faced a lot of criticism about their choice to begin HRT, they recently called the treatment "life-saving."

"Informed consent HRT saved my and many others' lives. The hurdles gnc people have to jump through to get life-saving gender-affirming healthcare in a 1st world country is wild to me," Chris wrote. "Just let people make informed decisions about their own bodies."

Chris also shared that they were "genuinely so glad" that coming out has helped so many people learn about HRT and start conversations.

I’m genuinely so glad so many people are learning what HRT is and how it CAN and HAS helped so many people because of my tweet. I was super nervous to be public about this bc I’ve always been so private when it comes to this, but seeing conversations started bc of me is amazing https://t.co/r1Tf53PYHZ

On top of that, Chris says that their hairline and facial shape has already started to change, giving them an incredible boost of body positivity.

THANK YOU! The ironic thing is every photo of me people are using is pre hrt, my hairline and facial shape has already started to change so the photo that’s being used for articles doesn’t even look the same. The amount of body positivity I’ve gotten in just 2 months is insane

Although they may continue to face hateful people on their journey, Chris has the full support of their friends, including MrBeast — who recently stood up to a transphobic hater on Twitter.

"Chris isn’t my 'nightmare' he’s my fucken friend and things are fine. All this transphobia is starting to piss me off," MrBeast wrote.

Yeah, this is getting absurd. Chris isn’t my “nightmare” he’s my fucken friend and things are fine. All this transphobia is starting to piss me off

Thankfully, it seems like Chris has been able to brush off the critics so far. Wishing them all the best on their journey!
