Move Over, George: Amal Clooney Just Walked the Red Carpet with a New Date
George, you’ve been replaced. On Sunday night, Amal Clooney—looking radiant as ever—decided to bring a different date to the L.A. premiere of her hubby’s latest film, Suburbicon: her mom.
OK, so George was there, too. (He directed and produced the film, after all.) But Amal decided to make their date night—sans twins Ella and Alexander—a family affair by including her mom, Baria, as well.
Based on the cute red carpet pics, George didn’t seem to mind. After all, he has Amal on one arm and his equally elegant mother-in-law on the other. You can’t beat that kind of family support.
And here’s the kicker: The date of the premiere, October 22, was actually National Mother-in-Law Day in the U.S. Damn, George knows how to earn those brownie points.
