There are many crash videos in mountain biking where the rider clearly seems to be riding something too gnarly for their experience level.
Sometimes, however, we see an advanced rider mess up something very hard. The results can be spectacular.

In this video, one Redditor decides he is going to pull for an enormous gap on a trail. His immense speed on the run-in is not enough. He comes up short and lands on the flat. This harsh landing sends him over the bars into a scorpion.
Though the rider attempted to get the clip onto a popular fail compilation on YouTube, he has been unsuccessful as of yet. Perhaps it is not a spectacular fail when it is that skilled of a maneuver.
Thankfully, the Reddit audience enjoyed the clip. One elicited Larry The ENticer with the comment “What are you silly? I'm still gonna send it! Nice one my man!”
Though most of us in our desk chairs are happy not to pull for such a gap, the internet is a better place because people do.
