According to a report released by Pinterest, braids and braid tutorials are now some of the most-searched topics on the site, with queries on "braided hairstyles videos" up 4,004 percent. Much like their wardrobes, it sounds like folks are also looking for ways to transition their hairstyles to suit the season. Just think of these popular braid looks as the hair equivalent of a cardigan and a denim jacket.

Bubble braids

Among the top searches, we've got bubble braids, which is one of the easiest hairstyles to achieve because, well, they're not really braids. Instead of plaiting the hair (although you totally can), you divide it with elastics and fluff them up into evenly distributed sections.

Scarf Braid

One of the prettiest and most Insta-worthy trends on the list is actually a carry-over from the summer: the scarf braid. Weave a silk scarf (or two, go wild) into your plaits to serve a look that will make your family think you put some effort in at Thanksgiving dinner.
