3) Extraction 2 (June 16)
Can we extract Extraction from the Netflix vault? Please? Listen, we hardly remember Chris Hemsworth's action-thriller, because it debuted about a month after the start of the pandemic. But Hemsworth wouldn't stop posting pictures from the set of Extraction 2–so we're praying the film arrives in 2023.

John Boyega, Jamie Foxx, and Teyonah Parris will star in They Cloned Tyrone, an upcoming sci-fi thriller. In this film, a series of strange events brings the trio together and forces them to uncover a government conspiracy. By the looks of the trailer? We're in.

Heart of Stone is a spy thriller that will star Alia Bhatt, Gal Gadot, and Jamie Dorman. The film follows the group as they play lethal super-spies, who are tasked with fighting the worlds most ruthless criminals. It's a Netflix action romp, if we've ever seen one.

Love at First Sight stars Haley Lu Richardson and Ben Hardy as two young-travelers who become seat-mates after a chance encounter at the airport. The wonky circumstances spark an instant connection, and the two hit it off during the flight. But when they’re separated at their destination, they’re forced to rely on fate to bring them back together.

Pain Hustlers is based on Evan Hughes' novel, The Hard Sell. The film adaptation stars Emily Blunt as a struggling mother who finds a job at a failing pharmaceutical startup. To her surprise? The company is actually working on a dangerous racketeering scam.

9) The Killer (November 10)
Director David Fincher’s next project, The Killer, will be an action-packed, neo-noir film starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton. The film is based on Alexis Nolent's French graphic novel of the same name, which follows a lonely hitman whose criminal past comes back to haunt him.

Red alert: Adam Sandler will star as an animated lizard in Leo. The musical comedy follows a group of students last year in elementary school, as told through the perspective of their classroom pet, Leo. Expect delightful Sandman antics, as always.

11) Leave The World Behind (December 8)
Homecoming's Sam Esmail is back—and teaming up with Julia Roberts again—in the upcoming thriller, Leave The World Behind. Based on the Rumaan Alam novel of the same name, the film willfollow a family vacation that’s interrupted by two strangers who announce an imminent blackout. With everyone scrambling to keep their families safe, they have to find a way to survive the mysterious circumstances.

Shirley is an upcoming drama about Shirley Chisholm, the first Black woman to run for President of the United States. The film will follow Chisholm's life story—from a young activist, to becoming the first Black woman elected into Congress, to her historic presidential run.

13) Maestro (Expected 2023)
We're far from the shallow now, sure, but also pretty far away from Bradley Cooper's last major shot at a Best Actor nomination, in 2019's A Star Is Born. Enter Maestro, which will see Cooper transform into legendary conductor Leonard Bernstein. Depending on when Maestro hits theaters, Cooper could be primed for an awards-season run at the end of 2023.

14) Happiness is for Beginners (Expected 2023)
Based on Katherine Center’s novel of the same name, Happiness is for Beginners follows Helen, a middle-aged woman who has always played things safe. After a divorce, she signs up for the “Adventure of a Lifetime,” soon finding herself hiking the Appalachian Trail with a strange group of travelers. Throughout the experience, she learns that sometimes you have to push yourself to the brink to see what you're truly capable of.
