Mossimo Giannulli Reportedly Called Out Olivia Jade's Guidance Counselor

New court documents are giving anyone following the college admissions scandal a closer look at Lori Loughlin's husband, Mossimo Giannulli. While the designer has managed to dodge most of the attention directed at his wife, Page Six reports that the latest filing from prosecutors describe him as a man who berated a guidance counselor after he questioned Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose's participation in rowing.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the counselor was Philip Petrone. While Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose were attending Marymount High School in Los Angeles, he saw that the girls had applied to college as rowing recruits, and noticed that they'd never participated in the sport.

“I told [the rep] I had no knowledge of involvement in crew and based on what I knew of her video blogging schedule, highly doubted she was involved in crew,” Petron told investigators, according to court documents.

When Giannulli learned of Petron's discussions, he allegedly went to the school and confronted him. At the time, Giannulli "launched into an 'agitated stream of consciousness' about his daughter’s acceptance into USC," Page Six adds. Giannulli went on to ask Petron if he knew that the girls' admission could be in jeopardy with his statements. Petron suggested that Olivia Jade mention vlogging on her college application, calling her a "guru."

"Mr. Giannulli went on to say [I] still did not 'get it,' I was his daughters' counselor, I was supposed to help them. He then stated he 'knows lots of people,'" Petron said. "His tone made me visibly nervous."

The new information was released at the same time as photos of Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose working out on rowing machines. The photos have been at the center of the college admissions scandal. Giannulli and Loughlin are still waiting for their court date this fall.
