Moment Abandoned and Abused St.Bernard Realizes He's Safe with Rescue Volunteer Is Emotional
It's always heartbreaking when you see a story about a rescue organization finding an abandoned and badly neglected animal, and the only saving grace in any of these stories is knowing the animal in question is finally getting the help they need.
The TikTok account for @Streetheartstx, a group of rescuers who work in the greater Houston area, posted the following video of a beautiful abandoned Saint Bernard and it's so heartbreaking.

The video description reads, "Meet Sullivan aka Sulley. This neglected Saint Bernard came to me late Monday night after he was found alone in a rural area. He has severe skin issues, overgrown nails, was crawling with fleas and you can tell it’s painful for him to walk. Despite his awful condition, he is the sweetest boy ever!! All he wants is love. He takes treats gently and leans into you for pets."
How anyone can hurt a dog like this is unfathomable. People have fallen in love with this poor, sweet dog and @Rhonda says, "Prayers for you sweet puppy." @J comments, "What a sweet boy. Thank you for saving him."@Rose replies, "Who would do this to the best breed ever? Mine is almost 8 years old and my heart.." @Courtney responds, "Saints are the absolute sweetest dogs. I love him!!"
