Sometimes winning really isn't quite everything. The most captivating story on Thursday's episode of NBC's The Titan Games, hosted by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, came courtesy of Melissa Alcantara, a mom who has overcome postpartum depression to get in incredible shape and become a personal trainer. Oh, and she happens to have trained Kim Kardashian.

Alcantara spoke on this episode of Titan Games about how she hoped to be an inspiration to her daughter, showing, "She's strong, she can do anything." The former hostess in the Bronx has certainly done a lot in her own life, beating back postpartum depression and a 200-pound weight to become an inspiration for so many other women. "I just remember thinking, This is not me. I can't do this anymore," she said of her decision to get fit.

She went up against a formidable component in Christina Luna. They each struggled to push a massive door-like object toward the other in order to push their competitor off the mountain-like course. While Luna gained an early lead, Alcantara summoned the strength to finish Luna, and both were great sports about it.

Unluckily, Alcantara did suffer a knee injury from the challenge, so she bowed out of the next event. It's more or less all good, though, because Johnson chimed in on Twitter to celebrate her effort, saying, "You’re a champ and inspiration to everyone who witnessed your incredible performance tonight. Including myself."

With that kind of promotion, she certainly won't lack for training clients. And even though she didn't make it to the end, he's far from wrong about her performance.
