If there's one thing that Sabrina Ewell has learned after hating her postpartum figure for almost two decades, it's her body isn't "baggage" - it's something to be proud of.
Over the past 19 years, the yoga instructor and mom-of-two has considered tummy tucks, tried home remedies passed from word of mouth, and felt ashamed because she couldn't "fix" her body to look the way she thought it should. All of these years later, the Chicago mom has finally found her authentic self and has an important message for those who don't see the beauty in her body: "I no longer look to societal norms to define who the f*ck I am," she wrote on Instagram. "I am unapologetically me in my bikinis as I do handstands on the beach because I'm the sh*t."
When Aaron Turner of Expressions Untold photographed Sabrina, he was captivated by a snapshot of the midsection she once tried to hide. The pair decided to share the powerful image on social media to help other women embrace the changes in their bodies, and Sabrina's caption is just as strong as her image. "F*ck your photoshopped imagery because your bullsh*t no longer applies to me."
