Netflix's The Mole is the latest reality competition to catch our attention, and this one is truly savage. Finally, the last episodes dropping on the streaming service today [21 October], and we know now exactly who The Mole is. (Scroll down to see the answer.)

If you're in need of a recap, the show sees 12 players working together in a series of challenges, all with the goal of adding money to a prize pot which only one of them will eventually win. The twist? There's a secret "Mole" planted within the group, tasked with sabotaging the group's challenges and their chances at winning cash.

And the question on everybody's lips: who is the Mole?

The Mole is available on Netflix in ten parts, and before the final two episodes were revealed, Netflix fans took to social media to dish out their fair share of theories.

Betting on software developer Kesi Neblett being the secret saboteur, one viewer tweeted, "I think Kesi is the Mole." They went on, "My number 2 suspect is Avori. Will being the Mole would be the most shocking!" Another agreed, writing, "Kesi is the mole and Avori is gonna win."

Either Kesi or Avori being the Mole would make some kind of sense. Kesi's skills as a software developer and Avori's as a professional gamer put them both in a prime position to draw up some clever strategies of deception. Plus, both have made mistakes during challenges which may be innocent, but could also point to undercover Mole work.

Alongside Kesi and Avori, others are looking at Joi or Jacob as the saboteur. A third viewer tweeted, "I'm starting to think Kesi is the Mole... but my spidey senses are still saying Joi or Jacob!"

Pilot Joi Schweitzer herself even accused Jacob of being "the s***hole Mole", though she'd previously said in a confessional that she didn't think it was him. Meanwhile, firefighter Jacob has also been criticised by his fellow contestants for not adding much money to the prize pot. Something the Mole would do?

So, who is The Mole?

In the finale, the final three contestants were given a last mission - "one final chance to fill the pot" as host Alex Wagner put it. They had to work together as a team to locate canisters hidden across the territory, avoiding the automatic drones that were put in place to sabotage them.

The finalists secured $5k, bringing the total winnings to $101.5k. Before they found out who won the money, The Mole had to reveal themselves not only the other two finalists, but the rest of the contestants: It was Kesi!

Both Joi and Will were suspicious of Kesi all along, but only one of them correctly guessed andwon the prize money: In the final quiz, Kesi accused Joi of being the Mole, while Joi surprisingly chose Will. When Will revealed he had picked Kesi as The Mole, he walked away with the $100k. Not bad!
