DOUG MCINTYRE: Hi everyone, Doug McIntyre coming at you on Thursday morning. And like all of you, just digesting the news this morning that Major League Soccer has followed the NBA's lead. It has suspended its regular season for 30 days because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. I think once the NBA made that decision, it was inevitable that the dominoes would start to fall.

I reported on Yahoo Sports this morning that US Soccer has canceled friendlies for both the men's and women's national team. The men were scheduled to go over to Europe and play Wales and the Netherlands at the end of this month. That's not happening. The women had friendlies set for Sandy, Utah on April 10 against Australia, and April 14 in San Jose, California against Brazil. Those games aren't happening either.

CONCACAF has suspended its Champions League competition. And I have to think that CONCACAF's Olympic qualifying tournament is next. So a fluid situation. We'll keep you updated with the latest right here at Yahoo Sports.
