Missouri falls to Florida in the most crushing way possible
Leave it to Missouri to find a truly mind-blowing way to lose a game.
The poor Tigers were all set for a classic finish against Florida — game tied at 75, at home, Mizzou in possession and the clock winding down. All MU had to do was secure the ball and find an open shot.
It ended up doing the exact opposite.

Florida 77, Missouri 75. Ouch.
That’s Florida Gators’ Chris Chiozza on the scoop and score and don’t be surprised if he gets a call from the football team after a move like that. Chiozza perfectly reads the play and just casually walks in for the game-winning layup.
There are plenty of reasons why the Gators sit atop the SEC standings. This is not one of them. Mizzou was in position to steal a win or head to overtime. It did neither.
Remember this play if the race for the SEC title begins to tighten up.
