Man baffles social media with ‘mind-blowing’ kitchen storage hack: ‘How have I never thought of this?’
A new freezer bag hack is taking social media by storm.
That premise might not sound exciting at first, but give TikToker Phillip Quinn a chance. The user, who lives in Australia, has earned over 1 million views after sharing his “mind-blowing” hack for storing frozen foods.
The trick is so simple, most TikTokers were shocked they’d never thought of it.
In his clip, Quinn cuts a straight line deep into his frozen food bag. Then, after pouring out some food, he pulls up the bag’s ends and ties it together like a delicious pair of sneakers.
“Just in case you haven’t discovered this yet,” Quinn captioned his video.
As it turned out, many TikTokers hadn’t discovered the freezer bag hack before. Plenty of users commented on the clip to praise Quinn’s “game-changing” method.
“All 26 years of my life and I’ve never thought of this?” one user wrote.
“How have I never thought of this?” another asked.
“OK you just changed the game,” another added.
“Learning more on TikTok than I ever learned in school,” another wrote.
Quinn’s hack is just the latest in a long line of simple-yet-mind-blowing tricks to go viral on TikTok. In the past few months alone, TikTokers have taught viewers new ways to cut desserts, fold tortillas and, perhaps most strangely of all, open a wine bottle with a shoe.
