Milo Ventimiglia Shares a Major Detail About the ‘This Is Us’ Season 3 Plot

We know Jack Pearson is an IRL angel now, but we still can’t shake the feeling that there’s so much more to learn about him. Lucky for us, Milo Ventimiglia says This Is Us season three is essentially a Jack Pearson history crash-course.

In an interview with People, Ventimiglia explained that the show’s upcoming season will explore an aspect of Jack’s life that the first two seasons barely touched on: his time in the Vietnam War.

“We’re definitely going to see Jack in the Vietnam era,” the This Is Us star shared. “At the end of the Super Bowl episode when people were ultimately confronted with how he passed away, there was a trailer to show Jack in a helicopter over Vietnam in uniform. We’re going to explore that side of Jack’s 20s and what brought him into the man that we all knew.” (And loved, might we add.)

Since it seems Jack lost his brother Nicky in Vietnam, it’s safe to wonder if season three might also dig into their relationship.

Just when we thought we’d adequately processed Jack’s passing, Milo drudges it up again. Ugh.
