Leave it to Generation Z to make us regret throwing out that 50-pack of blank CDs. Makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan recently took to Instagram to show off an ingenious new makeup trick she used on Millie Bobby Brown: cutting up CDs to create perfectly arched, holographic floating eyeliner. Incidentally, the 15-year-old was born three years after the debut of the iPod, meaning the Stranger Things actress has likely never even owned a CD — bet your Mp3 could never double as eye makeup, though.
"Shootin’ after the shoot... Taking DIY to a whole new level," Deenihan captured a pic of Bobby Brown's neon-hued liner. (As PopSugar suggests, the CDs were likely attached to the actress's face with lash glue.)
It's unclear what Bobby Brown was shooting for (likely not Stranger Things, considering her long, honey blonde hair isn't true to Eleven's look). We can only hope the CD-inspired look was done for the actress's new beauty brand, Florence by Mills; nothing sounds more 2019 than a line of retro-tech makeup palettes that will have us all running to Best Buy for glam inspo.
