Millie Bobby Brown wears a quilted down, puffer dress on the red carpet

Millie Bobby Brown wore a puffer coat as a gown on the red carpet Tuesday night during Milan Fashion Week, and it was perfect. The look came from a collection called the “Moncler Genius Project” which included designers like Valentino’s Pierpaolo Piccioli, Simone Rocha, Craig Green, and more. It was Pierpaolo’s design, however, that Millie chose to show off on the carpet. The gown boasted an ankle-length hem, sleeveless silhouette, and full skirt, all in black quilted down. It's as though your if favorite ski jacket all of a sudden became couture.

Millie is known for her whimsical takes on the most classic of silhouettes. She wore Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers with her pale pink gown to the 2018 SAG awards, seamlessly transitions from slouchy denim overalls to a full-blown ball gown, and recently, chose a cheerleader-inspired look sitting front row at Calvin Klein’s Fall 2018 show at New York Fashion Week. In short, the actress is quickly becoming a style icon.

Though Millie is one of the faces of Calvin Klein and most often chooses Raf Simon’s collection when hitting the red carpet, she’s a Valentino girl if we’ve ever seen one (and wore one of their gorgeous dresses to the 2017 Emmy Awards), so it makes perfect sense that the Moncler capsule she chose for her photo-op was from that fashion house’s designer. The rest of the collection was full of gowns like the one that Millie wore as well as floor-length capes and opera gloves. It's easily the most regal puffer coat we’ve ever seen.
