During a recent visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Halsey revealed they might have a biopic in the works.

Back in 2017, Halsey met director and writer Alev Aydin. He was initially hired to write a movie about Halsey — today, he's Halsey's partner and the father of their son, Ender.

The singer/songwriter joked that the concept for the biopic would be similar to 8 Mile, but "less spaghetti." Alev followed Halsey on tour and interviewed them throughout the years. During that time together, Halsey said "after being friends for a long time, we fell in love."

When discussing which celebrity should play Halsey, Jimmy only had one person in mind: Millie Bobby Brown! He held up a photo of Halsey dressed as Millie's Stranger Things character, Eleven.

"Millie would be great," Halsey told Jimmy. "But I don't think I'm famous enough to cast Millie. You'll do it though, right?"

"It's kind of uncanny how much we look alike. It's like, 'Oh no, we actually look just like sisters.'"

Well, Millie heard about the casting chat and revealed on her Instagram story that she'd be "sooooo down" to do it.

Although the biopic instantly piqued Millie's interest, other people questioned why Halsey was even getting a biopic.

And after noticing some backlash to the news, Halsey decided to address the naysayers, reminding people on Twitter that it was an idea that was brought to them.

We don't have a final update on the current development stage of the biopic, but I'm sure there will be a lot of people excited to hear more about Halsey's musical journey, their ongoing battle with endometriosis, motherhood, and more.
