Millie Bobby Brown Said She Really Hated Mike and Eleven’s Season 3 Breakup

Fans have been watching the latest season of Stranger Things since it was released on July 4.
Millie Bobby Brown held an Instagram Q+A where a fan asked her what she felt about Mike and Eleven's breakup in the season.
Millie revealed that she didn't want them to breakup and was actually upset over it.
Millie Bobby Brown isn't afraid of letting people know if she doesn't like something, even if it's something her character did this season.
While answering some questions during an Instagram live Q+A, a fan asked her what she thought about Mike and Eleven's (Mileven) breakup.
"Okay, I’m going to be real with everyone right now, I was not happy," she said, according to Metro. "When I read the first two episodes, [I said] thank God Eleven and Mike are together, they can be cute, they can…you-know-what. They can kiss and they can be a couple, which is what we all wanted."
Millie revealed that she's also a total Mileven shipper and that they were meant to be together, but something else got in the way.
"Is that not what we wanted? Because that’s what I wanted. I was sitting there like 'guys, we all know what they want and that is to be together.' Why can’t they be together? Because this bloody monster keeps getting in the way. Because obviously I want them to be together, I mean, she’s so in love with him and he’s so in love, it’s such a cute little storyline and they’re so cute together," she said. "And he loved her, no matter what she looked like, no matter what she said, no matter what she did, he still loved her and that is just the perfect boy. To love you for whoever you are."
Technically, it was Hopper and not the Mind Flayer who caused their breakup after he failed to give Mike and Eleven his speech and blew up on him while driving him back. She also said that she was pretty open with everyone about how she felt about their big breakup.
"I was like 'hmmm, ok, well here’s the thing… no.' I didn’t say that but I was so, so not okay with it. I was really excited for them to be together and then when they broke up, I was like 'okay, when are they gonna make up because they need to.'"
Luckily, Millie and every single Mileven shipper out there got their wish when they got back together at the end of the season. Hopefully, we'll see their cute reunion together in season 4, this time without a monster (or Hopper) causing their breakup.
