If you didn't already know, Millie Bobby Brown is engaged! A few weeks ago, the actress announced her engagement to her partner Jake Bongiovi via Instagram. Ever since, the Internet has been processing that the 19-year-old actress is getting married.
Millie subtly announced the news on April 11, 2023 in a post captioned: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, and I want 'em all 🤍." ICYDK, these are actually lyrics to Taylor Swift's hit "Lover," which is one of the sweetest love songs ever written. Jake also shared his own post with Millie the same day, writing "Forever 🤍," in his caption.
Although the 19-year-old Stranger Things star keeps her life pretty private, Millie and her boo have shared some adorable relationship moments in the public eye. Here's everything to know about Millie's fiancé, from his super famous parents to how the couple met.
He's 20 years old.
Jake, or Jacob Hurley Bongiovi, was born on May 7, 2002 in New Jersey, per IMDb. So, Jake is a Taurus, and Millie is a Pisces—which is literally the most compatible you can get, in terms of the stars. They're a match made in heaven!
Jake's dad is Jon Bon Jovi.
Yup, he's a nepo baby folks. ICYDK, Jake is actually the son of one of the biggest rock stars of all time. He also has three siblings: a sister Stephanie (29), and two brothers, Jesse (28), and Romeo (19).
However, Jake has no interest in following in his dad's footsteps (that would be a tough act to follow!). He told Man About Town magazine last summer that he's much more passionate about a career in acting. However, he did say that watching movies with his dad is what got him interested in the craft.

Jake was accepted into Syracuse in 2020, and attended the school for his freshman year between 2020-2021. However, he did not return for his sophomore year, per Syracuse.

Jake and Millie have yet to comment on their engagement, but it is clear that a proposal happened.
Rumors have been circulating around the couple's relationship status for a few months, particularly after Millie posted a photo wearing that diamond ring in March 2023. The pair were spotted at an airport in Milan in April 2023, and based on the photos it seems they're looking for a little privacy.
