It’s official: Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are legally single.
Entertainment Tonight reports that court documents show that things are finally and officially over between the couple.
The pair announced their separation in August, with Cyrus’s rep releasing a statement reading, “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers,” the representative said in a statement. “They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Since then, both parties have (at least seemingly) moved on. Cyrus began dating Brody Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter, and was most recently linked to Australian singer Cody Simpson.
Though Cyrus and Hemsworth were together for nearly 10 years, their marriage only lasted 8 months. Cyrus is keeping their shared pets.
