Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, and More Celebs Participate in Dolly Parton Challenge
By now, you’ve probably seen the LinkedIn / Facebook / Instagram / Tinder meme that’s been circulating the internet — AKA “The Dolly Parton Challenge.”
The gist of the meme is pretty straightforward: post four photos, each reflecting how you’d portray yourself on the various social media platforms. Structurally, the meme tends to vary from person to person (some people are swapping out Twitter for Instagram, or listing Bumble instead of Tinder, for example). But overall, the idea of the game is to demonstrate how we all present ourselves a bit differently on each app — and the meme started with none other than the iconic Dolly Parton, when she posted her own collage on January 21, writing: "Get you a woman who can do it all." Genius, TBQH.
Since then, plenty of celebs have stepped up to the plate to take the #DollyPartonChallenge themselves. Miley Cyrus, who is Dolly’s goddaughter, soon jumped in with two versions of her own, one of which featured her Disney alter-ego, Hannah Montana. Never to miss out on the fun, The Jonas Brothers shared their version of the challenge (with Priyanka Chopra close behind), while actors Cara Delevingne, Shay Mitchell, and Gal Gadot also took part in the meme. Even Joe Goldberg from Netflix’s You managed to find a way to get involved — well, sort of.
