Mike Tindall joined the podcast House of Rugby to talk about (you guessed it) rugby—but the hosts couldn't stop themselves from asking him about the royal news on everyone's minds: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step back from their royal roles.

Hosts James Haskell and Alex Payne tried to prompt Tindall by asking about his recent holiday in Australia, saying it was a hard time to be away, with a "lot going on in The Firm." ("The Firm," of course, being a common nickname for the royal family.)

Tindall—the husband of Zara Tindall, Princess Anne's daughter and the Queen's eldest granddaughter—made it clear he didn't have anything to say about the situation. "Let's not talk about that," Tindall said. When asked if he'd been in touch with Prince Harry, since the news broke, he simply replied, "Yes, I have." After that, he quickly shut down any further discussion on the topic, saying Harry and Meghan's decision was a "no-go area," and that he "doesn't know anything about it," per Honey Nine.

Tindall isn't the only royal who's been avoiding public conversations about Meghan and Harry. When Prince William and Kate Middleton attended their first engagement of the year on January 15—prime time for speculation about the Windsors' yet-to-be-announced plans for the Sussexes—they didn't utter a word about the couple. When Kate and William were making their way through the crowd, shaking hands and speaking to fans, "if anyone DID ask about Harry and Meghan they were politely ignored," royal reporter Emily Andrews explained in a tweet.
