Microsoft shares in the spotlight after acquiring GitHub, Whirlpool shares jump and MGM Resorts down

Whirlpool (WHR): Shares rising here, at 3.4%. Credit Suisse upgrades Whirlpool Corporation to Outperform amid positive U.S. tailwinds.

MGM Resorts (MGM): Shares down here, around .13%. A tentative agreement has been reached between casino-hotel workers and MGM Resorts, covering nearly half of the 50,000 employees threatening to strike in Las Vegas.
