BOX SCORE

STILL BELIEVING: Ex-Michigan football QB Shea Patterson won't give up dream

Weather: Clear, low-80s.

Game notes: The Panthers will try to enact revenge after narrowly losing the Stars, 26-25, earlier this season. In that Week 4 matchup, Case Cookus led the way with 190 yards passing and two touchdowns with one interception. Shea Patterson completed 9 of 17 passes for 67 yards, one touchdown pass and three picks. He did rush for 79 yards and a touchdown though. Reggie Corbin had a big day with 152 yards and a score on just 12 carries.

Michigan looks different now with Patterson gone and a new kicker (former kicker Michael Carrizosa missed the potential game-winner from 21 yards out vs. the Stars). Since that Week 4 matchup, the Panthers have lost three straight while the Stars have won two of three. Philly's offense is third in the league at 176 points, but is tied for second-most allowed at 177.

Next up for Michigan is the first place New Jersey Generals (7-1) while Philadelphia plays the last-place Pittsburgh Maulers (1-7)
