Michelle Monaghan was not messing around at the Toronto International Film Festival, and showed up on the red carpet in a stunning chainmail dress.
The actress, 46, showed off her incredibly toned body (and some underboob) in the see-through gown.
To stay strong and healthy, Michelle is a huge fan of Pilates and also likes running.
Actress Michelle Monaghan's latest red carpet look has everyone Googling "chainmail" for our fall wardrobes, because the actress seriously looked that good in her getup.
During her red carpet appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival, the True Detective actress, 46, donned a full-length, sheer, chainmail dress (which definitely showed some underboob). And Michelle was simply all kinds of strong and toned in the see-through dress, as evidenced by photos from the glam event.
Michelle even posted a pic of herself hitting the red carpet on Instagram, as well as another photo of herself posing with some of her cast members.
And the post got lots of comments from friends and fans cheering Michelle on. "Love this dress! You look gorgeous!" The Office alum Angela Kinsey commented. And the film's director Nikyatu Jusu wrote, "So thankful for you Michelle: your grace, your self awareness, your brilliance, your humor your everything. Immensely in awe of you ♥️."
Michelle does a whole lot of Pilates, which explains her toned-all-over bod. In August of 2022, Michelle posted a video of herself enjoying her latest fitness obsession with her trainer Emily Bench, founder of Pilathon Pilates, where Michelle has been working out.
"I try everything - and sometimes - I do nothing at all! 🙋🏻♀️ Like life, my workout routine ebbs and flows," she wrote in the post. Michelle's Pilates practice does more than keep her body strong, however. "Pilates is a game changer for mind, body and spirit. 💫 I’ve been training at Emily’s studio for the last six months and I’ve never felt stronger, more flexible and grounded," the actress explained.
Michelle also likes to run. "I hike in the morning if I can, after I drop the kids off at school. If not, I'll go for a run. Typically, I'll do 30 minutes, which is a three-mile run for me," she told Shape. Michelle also told the outlet that she runs a half marathon every year with her best friend Maria from her hometown in Iowa.
Michelle's diet is all about balance, and she told Shape that includes McDonald's Quarter Pounders and six kinds of cheese in her fridge. Oh, and she doesn't own a scale. "I'm a firm believer in everything in moderation and not beating myself up," Michelle told the outlet.
Michelle went on to say that although she has never liked fruit, she makes up for it with a green juice every morning, which is "totally devoid of fruit but has tons of vitamins from vegetables. A typical day of eating for me is eggs or oatmeal for breakfast, soup or salad for lunch, and fish or meat and lots of veggies for dinner."
And she also loves a good cookie.
