The movie that temporarily ended Ree Drummond's babysitting career will continue its reign of terror this fall.

That's right, scary movie lovers! Halloween Kills, the 12th installment of the Halloween franchise, is coming to theaters on October 15. The first trailer for the new film just dropped and we're already gearing up for sleepless nights, because Michael Myers—the deadly villain in the long-running series—is back.

Set in the aftermath of the Strodes' failed attempt to burn the killer to death in their basement, this sequel picks up right where Halloween (2018) left off. Once again, Michael plots to exact brutal revenge on the cursed family and the small town of Haddonfield. Based on the trailer, it looks like the serial killer is succeeding.

Not on Laurie Strode's watch, though.

After four decades of Myers' murderous rampage, Jamie Lee Curtis's beloved character decides that the masked maniac must be stopped—once and for all.

"Evil dies tonight," she warns in a clip from a hospital room, yielding a knife.

With the help of her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), and the people of Haddonfield, Laurie forms a ferocious mob of survivors determined to finally see the demise of Michael (James Jude Courtney).

"You want your mask? Come and get it!" taunts a brave soul clutching the murderer's infamous white mask.

You might recognize some familiar faces from the original 1978 cast, including Will Patton, Anthony Michael Hall, and Nancy Stephens. Real Housewives fanatics like Ree will love to see that Kyle Richards (and her new bangs!) will also be returning to the haunted Illinois town.
