From Kate Murtaugh Events & Design... In the busy rush up to the holidays, it's important to stop and smell the sea salt (or roses) and continue to enjoy the memories of sand and waves and sunshine, even as the gray clouds of winter threaten us with their gloom. With that in mind, we decided to venture into our community to find the beauty of the holiday season surrounding us in our quaint, little New England coastal town. Partnering with Kendra Engel of K. Engel Photography and lifestyle blogger and influencer, Robbin Mangano, we created some simple, yet delightfully New England vignettes exemplifying the beauty of a true, New England holiday. We hope that this gallery can serve as inspiration to those looking to celebrate the holidays surrounded by simplicity, raw elements in nature and classic, New England charm. We also took the time to feature some great New England brands including Shit That I Knit, Sara Fitz, Hey Blue Handmade, Crane & Lion, LL Bean as a reminder that you don’t have to travel far or shop a big box store to find unique, high-quality and locally made gifts this season.
