Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant may not be getting into the shoe game as expected.

According to multiple reports Friday, Morant teamed up with Nike to create "Nike Ja," a shoe line with three color options and a specific style code. The line is scheduled to release next summer, per Sole Retriever, and the shoes are priced at $110 a pair.

However, Morant recently deleted a quote tweet and a comment questioning the published reports from Nice Kicks.

Multiple reports confirm the details of the sneaker, but neither Nike or Morant have publicly signed off on the deal.

Since he was drafted by the Gizzlies in 2019, Morant has consistently supported the Swoosh and is often seen in Nike jumpsuits and custom kicks. Finishing the 2021-22 season as one of the most elite guards in the league, Morant may announce more information on reports of the shoe deal.
