Melissa McCarthy may have lost the Best Actress Oscar to Olivia Colman, but she easily won Best Dressed (or, at least, Most Comfortably Dressed) on the Oscars after-party circuit.

While most stars kept the black-tie dress code going at Vanity Fair’s annual soiree Sunday night — see Kendall Jenner’s jaw-dropping gown — McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone resurfaced on the proverbial red carpet in matching black Adidas tracksuits and sneakers (Converse for him, Nike for her). And just to add a little ritz to the Run-DMC-esque look, the actress kept her diamond jewelry on.

McCarthy — who was spied mingling with the likes of a dolled-up Amy Adams, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas at the star-studded after-party — certainly earned her loungewear break. The Can You Ever Forgive Me? star arrived to the awards ceremony in a beautifully sculpted black-and-cream jumpsuit and cape designed by Brandon Maxwell, while director and actor Falcone dutifully wore a tuxedo. She then changed into a royal-inspired gown with a cape covered in stuffed bunnies in a nod to The Favourite to present Best Costume Design in one of the show’s most entertaining moments.

You can hardly blame her, then, for wanting her third outfit of the evening to be considerably more fuss-free. And who needs a trophy when you’re setting comfort and couples goals left and right?
