Melania Trump made it clear who she was rooting for in the Super Bowl.

The first lady showed her support for the New England Patriots in a $2,100 Amiri red, white and blue bomber jacket, white skinny jeans and a pair of blue pumps at a Mar-a-Lago viewing party on Sunday. Meanwhile, President Trump also showed off his Patriots pride with a red tie. The president and Patriots owner Robert Kraft have been friends for many years, which may explain why the first couple proudly donned the team's colors.

The first couple was spotted in their red, white and blue ensembles during the party for a special performance by the Florida Atlantic University marching band and cheerleading squad.

"Thank you so much, that was so great. Great job, great talent, enjoy the game," the president was overheard saying after the performance.

After the Patriots' 41-33 loss to the Eagles, Trump took to Twitter to congratulate the team on their first-ever Super Bowl.

"Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles on a great Super Bowl victory!" he wrote.

This was the first time in weeks that the first couple has been seen together following the Stormy Daniels scandal. The first lady arrived at the State of the Union separately from the president, breaking a longstanding tradition. For the event, Melania dazzled in an all-white Dior pantsuit.
