President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump hosted families at the White House on Monday for the 140th Easter Egg Roll.

President Trump addressed attendees from the Truman Balcony with Melania and son, Barron, at his side before the full family joined White House staffers, Cabinet members and children alike as they took part in the morning's festivities.

"On behalf of the Trump family, many of whom are with us right here in the audience, I just want to thank you. This is a special year," Trump said. "Our country is doing great. You look at the economy; you look at what's happening. Nothing is ever easy, but we have never had an economy like we have right now. And we're going to make it bigger and better and stronger."
