Last week, Meghan also paid tribute to her dad on the two-year anniversary of his death. On Twitter, Meghan shared a photo of her dad making a BLT, writing, "Today is harder than I thought it would here are few memories of my Dad that I hope make all of us smile."

The View host shared other memories as well, including photos and videos of John with his dog Burma, grilling in the backyard, and completing a puzzle with his kids. She also posted a screenshot of a long FaceTime she had with her dad.

"We talked a few times a day and I miss his laugh and dark sense of humor the most. Grief doesn't get easier but in my experience the pain does get quieter in time. I still wake up every day missing him. Thank you for letting me share with you," she said in a tweet. Meghan also wrote on Instagram, "Two years today. 742 days. Miss you every single one."

It's clear that Meghan and her dad had a very special relationship. She'll always have those memories to hold close.
