Royal-to-be Meghan Markle is kickstarting obsessions about perfectly blow-dried hair, white teeth and natural make-up.

But there’s another (slightly more permanent) thing that the former actress is influencing: cosmetic surgery.

One plastic surgeon has said that Meghan has dethroned Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner with more requests coming in to look like Prince Harry’s fiancée than anyone else.

Specifically her nose.

“Patients started to coming to see me about six months ago requesting Meghan Markle’s nose,” Dr Stephen Greenberg told E!. “As things between her and Prince Harry started to heat up, attention definitely followed.”

The 36-year-old’s ‘refined’ nose structure and tip have led to new nose job trend. Interestingly, Meghan’s nose isn’t perfect.

“She has a pretty great nose, but I think the beauty of it is that it isn’t perfect,” Dr Greenberg told Allure. “From the profile you can see that she has a very slight dorsal hump of the nose that is almost undetectable when looking at her straight on.”

The surgeon admits that he’s had a spike in requests yet again since the engagement announcement, adding: “There seems to be a direct relationship, as she has grown more serious in her relationship and public outings with Prince Harry to the requests growing as well.”

“Today she is probably one of the top, if not the number one, request that I am getting from patients hoping to look like their favourite celebrities.”

Apparently, a similar trend occurred in 2011 when Kate Middleton married Prince William. But it wasn’t the Duchess that caused a flurry of cosmetic surgery interest.

It was her younger sister, Pippa Middleton. Dr Greenberg says tons of patients came in wanting the ‘Pippa Butt Lift, “a smaller and more athletic, natural version of the Kardashian booty.”
