Meghan Markle and Canadian stylist Jessica Mulroney have been friends for years, which means they've been around for pretty much all of the important moments in one another's lives. Mulroney had Markle's back during the royal wedding, and her kids were even involved in the gorgeous ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Now, Mulroney is in London, and people think she's there to celebrate another big event in Markle's life: She could be spending time with the new mom and her new baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Mulroney first ignited rumors that she might be making a trip to see her best friend when she posted an Instagram shot of her daughter, Ivy, sitting over two pairs of matching shoes. "Packing for our first Mother/Daughter trip. Are matching shoes too much?" she wrote in the caption. People quickly began wondering if Mulroney was packing to go to London, since it was just a short time after Markle had announced the birth of her son.
Later, The Sun saw Mulroney boarding a plane to the U.K. with Ivy. Her husband also shared some Instagram activity in London, suggesting the family might have made it across the pond to spend time with Markle. Of course, it could all just be a huge coincidence, but the timing seems to line up with Baby Archie's arrival, and sources say Markle has been loving being able to get some quality time in with family and friends.
Plus, Mulroney has shown time and again how much she cares for Markle. She recently celebrated the Duchess of Sussex's one-year wedding anniversary early by sharing a sweet throwback photo on Instagram. She published an image of her twin boys holding Markle's veil as she walked into St. George’s Chapel on her wedding day. "Almost a year ago... google photo reminder," she wrote in the post. It's pretty unlikely that Mulroney would make her way to London and not find time to meet the newest addition to her best friend's family.
